MAT Kosovo has responded to requests from members of the Humanitarian Mine Action community to offer bespoke courses to meet the constantly changing environment.
The new courses are staged throughout the year with an introductory offer of a 10% discount
Ammunition Management & Physical Stockpile Security Management (A & PSSM)
This course is for those who would like to work in ammunition management, you will acquire the requisite knowledge, skills and attitude necessary to calculate IQDs and OQDs necessary for safe storage of large stocks of ammunition, (thus reducing the risk to civilian personnel living within the proximity to ammunition storage areas and reducing the chances of explosive propagation between explosive magazines).
Community Liaison Officer / Mine Risk Education & Train the Trainer (CLO / MRE / TTT)
Designed for those who want to get started in or who already work in the field of CLO/MRE to gain certification as a trainer. This course focuses on developing the skills to deliver Mine Risk Education confidently to various levels of the community from Village Leaders to School Children. The course encompasses several training modules and students with previous CLO/MRE experience who successfully display the ability to train other candidates will be awarded the Train the Trainer Certificate.
Explosive Remnants of War Risk Management (ERW RM)
The ERW Risk Management Training courses enable those working in hazardous areas and ERW rich environments to operate safely, which is key to protecting life, assets and futures.
