6 Alpha Going Above and Beyond in Supporting the Training of Ukrainian Agency Personnel – Donation of Vallon Detectors for Training at MAT Kosovo’s EOD & ERW Training Establishment
On Monday, the 4th May 2026, 6 Alpha Associates kindly donated 2 x Vallon VMXC1-3 Detectors to MAT Kosovo, for use in the delivery of training to Ukrainian agency personnel. The handover was between 6 Alpha Associates’ Max McDonald and MAT Kosovo’s Director Arben Qorraj.
Ben Remfrey, PCM and MAT Kosovo’s Managing Director stated:
“Our training of Ukrainian Agency personnel goes way back, even before the full scale invasion of Ukraine by the RF in Feb 2022. Equipment for training is always incredibly important, as is having the breadth of equipment from different manufacturers. This donation by 6 Alpha Associates continues a cooperation between our two companies, built on mutual respect and doing the right thing, I can only express my thanks to the 6 Alpha Team for this incredibly generous donation and assure them this equipment will further enhance this training going forward”.
6 Alpha’s Director of Land Operations, Ben Wilkinson said:
“Building on the excellent relationship that we have developed with MAT Kosovo, we are delighted to donate this equipment. We know that it will be put to good use in training EOD operators”.
