PCM & MAT Kosovo have been leading the way in Training Ukrainian Agency personnel in IMAS EOD Levels of competency, since November 2021, when we conducted IMAS EOD L1-3 Training to member of SESU, SSTS & Ukraine MOD.

Our Training Programmes, power point presentations, full training document support and training delivery is conducted in the Ukrainian language. Our team of Ukrainian interpreters and translators have worked tirelessly and been trained and certified to IMAS EOD Levels of competency also, ensuring the very best training delivery possible from our SMEs through these gifted and ‘prepared’ people.

Since the Russian Federations Illegal Invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, PCM & MAT Kosovo has pioneered in the delivery of IMAS EOD training to Agencies such as SESU, SSTS, National Guard, National Police EOD, Armed Forces of Ukraine and Ukraine Deminers Association, plus we have provided support for training to INGOs, notable global leaders in mine action.

Our Ukrainian Graduates have attained IMAS EOD L2 (plus – in terms of additional live demolitions with LOT), IMAS EOD L3 and progressively now, some have returned to attain IMAS EOD L3+. This clearly demonstrates PCM & MAT Kosovo’s progressive approach to training with intervals between training where our graduates have conducted live operations back in Ukraine.

Having run IMAS EOD courses back to back, from April 2002 through the the present day (Dec 23), our work continues with the next IMAS EOD L1/2 in the Ukrainian language commencing on the 22nd January 2024 – https://www.pcm-erw.com/ukraine-training-2/

As with all of our training, live demolitions play a key part of our graduates transition through levels of competency, with no exception and our exclusive use of the Poliex range facility in Montenegro – adds significant value to the graduates experience and ability to conduct both High and Low Order Techniques on ammunition natures of varying types.

We have plans for 2024, which will include more training delivered inside Ukraine itself, as well as at our fixed training establishment in Kosovo, and the use of the facility at Poliex in Montenegro.

We are proud of our commitment to Ukraine, delighted to have had so many dedicated Ukrainians attend our training and they themselves being ambassadors for Ukraine throughout.
