CEIA ‘Train the Trainer’ Course in Italy, July 2023
Danny Danenbergsons, Training Development SME, & Artur Tigani, HMA/ T&E SME, of PCM & MAT Kosovo, recently attended a technological ‘train the trainer’ training in Italy with CEIA.
In the interest of our continued cooperation with CEIA, our SMEs recently attended a CEIA ‘train the trainer’ 2 day course with CEIA in Italy. Giovanni Giustino – Head of Technical Department, Luca Cerini, Chief Technician, and Aleksander Simcic, Authorized Regional Partner were all in attendance.
The training was conducted at the C.E.I.A Spa near Vicenza.
The following detectors were covered during the train the trainer course: CEIA CMD-1, CEIA CMD-2, CEIA CMD-3 and DSMD Metal/ UXO detector.
This was an excellent, while intensive, two-day course, the idea for the course came from a visit by Giovanni and Aleks to Kosovo and our EOD school in the Spring of 2023. Now it is planned that Danny & Artur will conduct CEIA CMD2 training packages to the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) IMAS EOD Sapper ‘Train the Trainer’ course in July through September 2023, at MAT Kosovo.
CEIA will donate x 5 CEIA CMD-2 as part of this ‘Sapper’ training package to the AFU.
