Ukrainian-Language IMAS EOD Courses

Empowering Ukraine through Explosive Ordnance Disposal Training

IMAS EOD, IEDD, and other specialised ERW Courses in the Ukrainian Language.
The very best available anywhere.
The longest track record.

Since 2022, in response to the full-scale invasion from the Russian Federation, PCM and MAT Kosovo have dedicated themselves to providing life-savaing EOD training to Ukrainian nationals, tailored to the urgent needs of Ukraine.

What Makes our International Mine Action Standards (IMAS) Training in the Ukrainian Language the Best?

Since February 2022, PCM and MAT Kosovo have, with a team of specialised translators and interpreters, translated our industry-renowned IMAS courses into the Ukrainian language. To date, hundreds of Ukrainian nationals from across the national government agencies, INGOs and national NGOs have attended our courses, both at the MAT Kosovo EOD school and inside Ukraine. Ukrainians do not need a visa to attend training in Kosovo, where everything is covered in our residential ‘all inclusive’ courses, ensuring those attending can concentrate on the intensive specialised training from the moment they are collected on arrival to the moment they are delivered back to the airport for their journey home.

Kosovo is very easy to reach from Poland, with daily flights through European hubs, such as Vienna or Frankfurt, connecting from Warsaw or Krakow. On request from clients, we have deployed training cadre personnel into Ukraine, and have delivered IMAS CMD and CBRN training, bespoke to need.

Live Range-Day featuring Low Order Techniques (LOT)

The clip below was shot during one of our Ukrainian IMAS EOD L3 held in December of 2022. Our students practiced low-order techniques on a variety of actual live targets, including different land-service ammunition types and air-dropped weapons.

The next film, created in April 2024 showcases the transformative journey of Ukrainian women sappers through IMAS EOD training, highlighting their strength and dedication to rebuilding safer communities.

Partners

This significant achievement would not have been possible without the invaluable support of our partners, including Mriya Aid, JOA, FoU-EOD, and others. The successful training of these individuals was primarily made possible through the generous contributions of the Canadian foundation Mriya Aid and Jersey Overseas Aid. These two esteemed organisations have collaborated with PCM, the parent company of MAT Kosovo, in a unified effort to provide essential support to Ukraine.
