November 3, 2025Our Training Centre’s Free From Explosives (FFE) Inspections & Register Completion
PCM Group’s MAT Kosovo EOD & ERW Training Establishment is proud to announce the refresh and installation of our new FFE registration system.
We take the safety and well-being of our students and staff very seriously, ensuring that every FFE item held within our facility and used for training is 100% safe, free from explosives, and poses no danger during handling or training.
More than 1,600 items have been inspected in accordance with IMAS standards by an independent company, working in collaboration with our senior SMEs – a process that has taken many months to complete.
Every single item has undergone a rigorous inspection conducted by Nathaniel Stagg of Stagg Industries, alongside our senior SMEs. Nathan, a graduate of our own IMAS EOD training, brought his expertise and attention to detail to ensure the highest standards of safety and compliance were met.
Nathan stated:
“PCM’s MAT Kosovo have an amazing and fit for purpose selection of inert training items spanning over 125 years from over 20 different nations. Everything from replica purpose made training items to complex guided weapons and improvised destructive devices, these are quite exceptional and while the process of conducting the FFE procedure has been lengthy, it has been a great endeavour. I love being at the MAT Kosovo EOD school also, where I am treated like one of the ‘family'”.
PCM & MAT Kosovo’s Managing Director Ben Remfrey stated:
“When the matter of refurbishing and refreshing our extensive library came in question over 18-months ago, we felt while we could do this in house, it would make a good deal of sense to have an independent entity conduct the entire process. We know Nathan of Stagg Industries very well, he’s well respected in his area of expertise and he is a former graduate of MAT Kosovo, so a natural fit. I would have no hesitation in recommending Nathan’s work to others, and as the world’s premier IMAS compliant training provider, we don’t accept anything but the highest level of standards and competency, when ensuring the safety of our clients and staff.”
