Unique Website Page – Featuring our IMAS Compliant Training in the Ukrainian Language and Our Commitment to our Clients throughout 2024 and Beyond!

Since 2021, and in particular, since the full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, PCM and MAT Kosovo have embarked on a significant initiative, collaborating with a team of specialised technical translators to translate our industry leading IMAS EOD courses and all supporting materials into the Ukrainian language. Thanks to this, we continue to produce high-quality Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) education accessible to Ukrainian nationals.

 

To date, hundreds of individuals from various sectors, including Ukrainian National Government Agencies, international non-governmental organisations (INGOs), and national non-governmental organisations (NGOs), have graduated from these courses. The training sessions take place both at the MAT Kosovo EOD and  ERW Training Establishment in Kosovo, and within Ukraine itself.  Notably, Ukrainians are not required to obtain a visa to attend training in Kosovo, where they are cared for by MAT Kosovo for the duration of their training.  The comprehensive ‘all-inclusive’ residential courses cover all aspects, allowing participants to focus entirely on the intensive specialised training, from the moment they arrive, until their departure from Kosovo back to Ukraine.

Accessing training in Kosovo from Ukraine is made convenient, with daily flights connecting through European hubs like Vienna or Frankfurt, originating from major cities such as Warsaw or Krakow in Poland. In response to client requests, PCM and MAT Kosovo have deployed training cadre personnel directly into Ukraine. This has enabled the delivery of IMAS CMD and CBRN training tailored to specific needs of Government Agencies’ personnel.

Building on this initiative, PCM and MAT Kosovo have taken a further step to ensure accessibility for those Ukrainians who wish to attain IMAS certification at the highest level.  We have installed a dedicated website page, which has been created in both English and Ukrainian: https://www.pcm-erw.com/ukraine-training-2/  providing detailed information for Ukrainians interested in attending pay-per-seat courses.

 

 

This dedicated website page not only serves as a comprehensive informational resource but also features a dynamic ‘scheduled of dates’ which will be updated quarterly, with a section showcasing the dates of courses scheduled throughout 2024. We understand the importance of providing timely and accurate information to our clients. Therefore, the ‘scheduled dates’ section is regularly updated to reflect any changes or additions to the course schedule. This ensures that prospective participants have access to the latest information, allowing them to plan and register for upcoming training sessions with confidence.
