2023: A Year Like No Other: Affirming Our Status as the Number One IMAS-Compliant Training Provider Globally

2023 has built on the success of previous years, after absorbing and riding out the COVID-19 Pandemic of 2020 and 2021.

In 2023, we have had 259 ‘fully residential’ clients, either at our principle MAT Kosovo facility in Peja, Kosovo, or at the facility provided by Poliex in Montenegro. That’s 259 individual course places on an average for a 4-week course.

The Year 2023 in Numbers of People Trained at Each IMAS EOD Level of Competency & by Nationality:
IMAS EOD L2: 132 people from 20 different nationalities.
IMAS EOD L3: 105 people from 19 different nationalities.
IMAS EOD L3+: 21 people from 6 different nationalities.
Other Specialist Courses (including IEDD): 21 people from 11 different nationalities.
Our clients in 2023 came from 28 different nations!
Since 2017, we’ve had students from 66 different nations!!

Languages: Primarily, our IMAS-compliant courses in 2023 have been delivered in English, Ukrainian, Arabic, and Serbo-Croatian, with other languages to meet client needs.

On the road, PCM & MAT Kosovo have also deployed cadres, primarily in Ukraine, where we have conducted CBRN & IMAS EOD Courses at National Agencies locations.

Exciting developments for 2024 will see us delivering training to specific beneficiaries on behalf of donors, both in Kosovo and Montenegro, with our ramp-up of activities in Ukraine, where we are already planning cadre deployments, but also where we will be opening our own Training Establishment with a local partner – watch this space!

Our Training Establishment is there 365 days of the year, open and operating, and providing the very best IMAS-compliant training available anywhere globally. Our live demolition ranges, in cooperation with Poliex in Montenegro, give our students access to and disposal of live fuzed ordnance natures of many kinds, where all of our graduates qualify in the conduct of high and low order techniques.

Our equipment and new equipment procured in 2023 for use on our courses going forward in 2024 and beyond is significant. From new Locators, Detectors & GPRs, to DGPS systems, PPE, Firing Devices, ROV’s, Drones, EOD weapons, Bomb Suits, Portable X-ray machines, and much more, we have the very best inventory of training equipment of any training establishment, anywhere!
Our courses are ‘All Inclusive’, with no hidden costs; we provide collection and return to the airport, full board, washing of clothing, transport, security, medical care, and the training and certification; our clients are then left to concentrate on the training!
