October 27, 2022Last Quarter of 2022 Exceeds All Expectation in Terms of Training Demand
PCM & MAT Kosovo are delighted to announce that ‘we’re being kept very busy’ with demand for our training having exceeded expectation.
The MAT Kosovo training establishment is currently running 3 different courses, in three different languages – one of them being our own IMAS EOD Level 3 ‘core’ Course and two client courses, one already up and running and the other one almost about to start.
Our IMAS EOD Level 3 Course started in late September bringing together 17 different students of 11 different nationalities; a very well-rounded group, eager to learn, grow and share their experiences. These students are already at the end of the second week and are currently deployed to our range facility for two full days of live demolitions (6th & 7th October) on live ordnance natures, practicing high and low order techniques on a variety of land service ammunition, including ADWs. Next week will find our students doing spot tasks and getting tested on the knowledge they gathered throughout this course. We wish them a great deal of luck!
Concurrent with our IMAS EOD L3 Course, we have a clients IMAS EOD L3 course being delivered, where we are providing the full life and service support aspects, including supporting the training delivery itself, showing how we can cater for agencies wishes for their own course delivery to their own exacting requirements – we are flexible, and we were chosen by this client as we provide the best solution to their training needs.
While we are forging ahead with two technical courses at present, we are preparing for the upcoming course for a further client, which will start this coming Monday (10th October). This course will be an IMAS EOD Level 1&2 Course which is going to be followed by an IMAS EOD Level 3 Course, again for the same client.
In November and December, we are delivering a further IMAS EOD L3 course on behalf of the ‘Friends of Ukraine-EOD’, welcoming back students from Ukraine who had trained with us earlier in 2022, to IMAS EOD L2. It’s a real privilege to welcome back former students of any kind, but those who we trained in the emergency phase, soon after the Russian Federations invasion of Ukraine is particularly gratifying.
Also, in November and December we will be delivering the inaugural ‘Advanced Search/ Search Advisors’ course, the first of its type to be delivered for those in our industry to sign up to and gain what is an exceptional certification to enhance their IMAS EOD CMD certification, enhancing their own skill set further.
Our training infrastructure and facilities enable fully residential courses and full life support, add to this the fantastic live range capability, with a myriad of live fused targets, which makes us the obvious choice for your training needs.
We pride ourselves on the very best IMAS compliant training anywhere, the best training environment where everything is catered for, either on our own core scheduled courses or those courses bespoke to client needs. Leave the planning, your accommodation, food, laundry, transport and security and training delivery to us, while you concentrate on the learning experience.
