TECNOSUB EOD Team training at MAT Kosovo
January 16, 2019
‘Sonny’ the Explosive Detection Dog (EDD) joins the MAT Kosovo Team
January 19, 2019Historically our training years started gradually during the late winter months, but in January 2019 courses will start early due client demand, after been asked to deliver IMAS Compliant EOD courses to client’s country personnel. This involved our Training Team returning from leave early to prepare and then start three separate courses in parallel. PCM’s Chief Operating Officer Dr Karl Strobl sums up the start to the New Year perfectly;
“What constitutes as ‘Happy New Year’ when your business is ordnance disposal and risk management of explosive remnants of war?”
“Perhaps it’s starting 2019 with a bang, going from strength to strength: For the first time ever we are running three courses concurrently, not even counting the training we deliver concurrently in other countries. No other civilian EOD school can deliver anything close to that, and this is a testament to the resource commitment in 2018 which went towards increasing the scalability, ongoing IP development, IP management, research, reviews, audits, logs, etc., creating a best-of-breed training school, keeping the standards high and the content timely. Well done to the ever growing and superb team of trainers and staff. A big thank you to our loyal clients, who appreciate that training to be the best you can be is critical in their job. May you save many more lives and restore many more livelihoods in 2019.”
