Welcome to the team Matilda.
We are now the proud owners of a CVRT FV105 Sultan Armoured Personnel Carrier, which we affectionately named ‘Matilda’. MAT Kosovo’s EOD & ERW Training Establishment are proud to announce that we have, at great effort, acquired a great addition to our facilities training capability.
‘Matilda’ was bought at an auction in the UK and now it sits proudly at our training establishment, where it’s being used for more realistic training throughout our IMAS Compliant course programme, in particular for those attending the Advanced IMAS EOD level 3+ courses, where AFV clearance of Depleted Uranium ammunition is a core skill.
We continue to develop our exceptional array of training areas, scenarios and capability for our students to train in the most realistic training scenarios possible. Theoretical learning is very important, but practical learning is paramount to making sure that proper techniques are used when training to go on and do the real thing.
